Instrata is headquartered in Cambridge, UK. Instrata is a multi-disciplinary team of strategists, designers, ethnographers, and technologists that operates globally. We engage an international network of associates and conduct projects in Europe, Africa, Asia, Middle-East and the USA.

Dr Rachel Jones founded Instrata in 2001 with the aim of creating new opportunities for organizations based on understanding customers. Rachel has over 20 years experience and has worked at two of the foremost pioneers of people-centered design techniques, Xerox EuroPARC and Sapient (formerly E-lab). Rachel has a PhD in Computer Studies, over 30 international publications and has authored 10 patents.
